(9 Mar.), and on reverse blue “Customs/Peking” type D and “Customs/Shanghai” transit (6 Mar.) daters, “Yokohama/Japan” transit c.d.s. (10 Mar.) and “San Francisco, Cal.” arrivals (12-14 Apr.), with the closure of the Japanese Post Office in Shanghai during the Sino-Japanese War, the French Post Office still accepted the 6ca preferential rate of the Japanese P.O. to the United States, fine.
