returned to Peking. Large registered red band cover, applied with
Chihli Peking origin cds. F.w. Coiling Dragon 10c + probably
several dropped stamps, tied by Shanghai Chinese PO bisected
bilingual cds. Transit Shanghai (31 Dec) and then missent to Tibet
via Tuticorin (17 Jan), Calcutta (10 Feb / 18 Mar), Bombay (22 Mar
/ 2 Apr). Returned to Peking via Hong Kong (21 Apr), Shanghai (27
Apr). Arrived on 2 May. This cover never reached Yunnan.

1908.12.24 北京寄騰越海關，誤寄西藏，後退回北京。大型掛號紅條封，鈐直隸北京始發日戳。貼蟠龍1角 +
數枚掉票，銷上海半切漢英日戳。12.31經上海，後經Tuticorin（1.17）、加爾各答（2.10 / 3.18）及孟買（3.22
/ 4.2）誤寄西藏，再經香港（4.21）、上海（4.27）退回北京（5.2）。此信似乎從未寄抵雲南。邊沿磨損。
