1877 (4 Dec.) registered envelope to Loanda (Angola) “Via Lisboa”,
showing on reverse superb “Pago/em/Macao” Crowned Circle,
with“Correio/de Lisboa” c.d.s. (16.1.78) adjacent and on front
“Registrada/No.367”framed registration h.s. and “B/Macao” origin
c.d.s., one of only two recorded registered usages of this classic
Crowned Circle, as well as its only recorded usage to a Portuguese
Colony, very fine, one of the great philatelic items of Macao and a
superb exhibition piece. No. 887 cover in “A Survey and Recorded of
Pre-Adhesive Period Postal History of Macau 1616-1891” by Choi
Cheong Too.
