Official cover from the Office of the Commissioner of Mongolia, to
the head of Tusheetu Khan. The Commissioner of Mongolia, Marshall
Zhang Zuolin, was charged on 30th May 1921 with the task to expel
the Russians out of Mongolia, but he was not interested in
defending the country, and the last opportunity for China to
recover Mongolia was lost. The most appealing condition among

蒙疆經略使公署照會土謝圖汗部土謝圖汗多公，鈐“蒙疆經略使印”一方。1921年5月30日，北洋政府任命張作霖將軍為蒙疆經略使，撥出相應軍費，企圖從白俄手中收復蒙古，但張作霖按兵不動，紅軍攻入庫倫，中國失去了收復蒙古的機會。《驛傳萬里》p.159
原件，是蒙疆經略使公文封中品相最好的一件。
