f.w. QV 1sh x5 + 4d for quadruple rate via Marseilles by P&O
packet, tied by "2" obliterator with London d.s. Transit Hong Kong
(19 Jul). Arrived Shanghai BPO with scarce Webb type 5 locally made
"SHANGHAE" cds without date and type A cds. It is the only recorded
example of "undated" type 5 cds and the latest record of its type.
Bottom right corner damaged but not affecting postmark.

4便士，合鐵行輪船公司經馬賽郵路之四倍郵資，銷“2”殺手戳。7.19經香港。抵上海英局，鈐少見難得之本地製Webb
5型日戳（無日期）及A型日戳。此為未植日期之5型日戳存世弧例，同時為最晚之5型日戳記錄。封右下角有損但不影響郵戳。
