1901 Szemao (9 Dec) to France. PIcture postcard, f.w. Coiling Dragon 1c, tied by Szemao bisected bilingual cds (with year digit wrongly inserted as “10”). In combination with Navigation and Commerce issue x4, in total of 35c for international registered postcard rate, tied by Muong Hou Neua cds. Transit Muong Ngoi (12 Jan), Dien Bien (21 Jan), Hanoi (3 Feb). Arrived France (11 Mar). Combination mails of Chinese and French Indochina stamps from Yunnan are very scarce with only about 20 recorded. This one was dated very early, probably the earliest combination postcard from Szemao to France. Not to mention that sending from Szemao and taking Laos route are even more unusual. Card with tear and folds. It is also a very early combination postcard from Szemao to France, if not earliest. 1901.12.9 思茅寄法國。圖片明信片，貼蟠龍1分，銷思茅半切漢英日戳（年份誤作“10”）。加貼航海及商貿神像4枚，合35生丁，銷Muong Hou Neua日戳。1.12經Muong Ngoi，1.21經奠邊，2.3經河內，3.11抵法國。混貼大清及印支票之雲南封片十分少見難得，存世僅約20件。出自思茅並經老撾中轉更是可遇不可求。此另為極早之雲南寄法國混貼明信片，可能為最早。片帶裂痕及折痕。
