1908 Peking (24 Dec) to Customs Tengyueh, missent to Tibet and returned to Peking. Large registered red band cover, applied with Chihli Peking origin cds. F.w. Coiling Dragon 10c + probably several dropped stamps, tied by Shanghai Chinese PO bisected bilingual cds. Transit Shanghai (31 Dec) and then missent to Tibet via Tuticorin (17 Jan), Calcutta (10 Feb / 18 Mar), Bombay (22 Mar / 2 Apr). Returned to Peking via Hong Kong (21 Apr), Shanghai (27 Apr). Arrived on 2 May. This cover never reached Yunnan. Interesting. Rough edges.1908.12.24 北京寄騰越海關，誤寄西藏，後退回北京。大型掛號紅條封，鈐直隸北京始發日戳。貼蟠龍1角 + 數枚掉票，銷上海半切漢英日戳。12.31經上海，後經Tuticorin（1.17）、加爾各答（2.10 / 3.18）及孟買（3.22 / 4.2）誤寄西藏，再經香港（4.21）、上海（4.27）退回北京（5.2）。此信似乎從未寄抵雲南。邊沿磨損。

1897 cover from Tatsa Rimpoche, Tibetan Regent to Sir Ran-uddip Singh Rana, Prime Minister of Nepal, applied with the Great Silver Seal of the Tibetan Regent (Dawson no. 20) and the small red seal of the Regent (Dawson no. 21). With English translation. Given by Emperor Qianlong to the first of the elected Tibetan Regents Demo Rimpoche Trulku Ngawang Jampel Delek of Tenggyeling who was Regent from 1757-1777 on the death of the VII Dalai Lama. A rarity.1897年一件由西藏攝政Tatsa Rimpoche寄廓爾喀首相Sir Ran-uddip Singh Rana之信件，鈐西藏攝政大銀印（Dawson No. 20）及紅色小圓章（Dawson no. 21）。附有英文翻譯內容。西藏攝政大銀印由乾隆贈予第一位西藏攝政德木·阿旺絳白德勒嘉措。難得珍罕。

A group of 3 Nepalese merchant covers privated carried by Yizhan to Lhasa during Qing Dynasty, showing the name of the addressee and Postage Paid annotation by ink-brush on reverse. Carriage of private mails by Yizhan was prohibited but the rule was ignored by the couriers for the sake of profit.清朝廓爾喀民信一組三件，經驛站私遞至拉薩，背面寫有“大木松他收”及“酒資照付”批注。清朝驛卒往往不顧禁令私遞民信。

Very scarce resealed mail in Tibet. According to Steve Chazen and Danny Wong, there was a period of not conducing censorship in Tibet between Oct 1940 and Jun 1942, but this pair was still censored in India.1941年一對自亞東英局寄英美之封片，貼印度佐治五世及六世票，銷亞東英局日戳。均鈐印度檢查三角戳。蔡盛及王劍智記錄西藏於1940年10月至1942年6月間不實施郵政檢查，但這對封片仍需於印度受檢。
