In combination with German Eagle 10pf x2 + 20pf, tied by Shanghai German PO (14 Feb) cds. Arrived Hamburg (20 Mar). According to the Holcombe certificate, it is unclear whether the sender prepaid the triple internal postage of 9 cand and underfranked the German postage or whether the 9 cand prepaid the entire single rate and it was found to be underpaid and the German P.O. added a further 20Pf. postage.
