F.w. rare & exceptional combination franking of Straits Settlements ‘BMA/ MALAYA’ Overprints KGVI Scroll Design Keyplates inscribed ‘REVENUE/REVENUE’ $25 carmine & brown and Johore Royal Silver Wedding $5 green (small faults where affixed over edge) tied by ‘JOHORE BAHRU/14JAN49’ cds cancel, minor folds affecting the $5 only. This rare item proves genuine postal usage of the $25 revenue stamp.
