1897 Empress Dowager surch small figure 2c/2ca, with double surch variety (Chan 39c), setting B, tied by pakua cancel and cds. Of the two sheets (80 stamps) produced with this error, there are less than 35 documented examples. The vast majority are unused and come from what is referred to as the type A surcharge from Setting A. There are approximately five or six examples of the type B surcharge double variety from Setting B, which has the surcharge applied higher than that of type A. All of these are canceled by pakua.
