On front with “F.30” accountancy mark. Arrived Thurn und Taxis private PO. This Swatow Direcks & Co. forwarding agent oval is very scarce with only about 5 examples known. Addressing to Thurn and Taxis even elevates the piece. 1864年汕頭寄德國，背鈐珍罕之“FORWARDED BY DIRECKS & Co. SWATOW”橢圓形戳記。經香港，隨後10.8經蘇伊士-馬賽法國郵船。正蓋有F.30計費戳記。抵Thurn and Taxis私人郵局日戳。此Direcks & Co汕頭轉運代理戳十分少見，存世僅約五件。抵Thurn and Taxis更是錦上添花。

A nice early example of Shanghai French PO.1863.5.23 上海寄法國，貼拿破崙三世40生丁雙連，銷5104鑽石點戳，另鈐上海法局Ch1型民郵日戳、PD戳記及法國郵船中轉戳（7.14）。上海法局於1863年3月才開始提供郵票。出色之早期上海法局例子。
