This type was probably used by the main Swatow postal agency.1888.5 汕頭寄美國。印刷品封，貼香港維多利亞女皇像2仙，銷汕頭英局D型日戳。寫有“via San Francisco”批示。封舌缺失。Webb指此戳深受收藏家青睞，蓋於封上的例子僅有兩件。此戳應用於汕頭的主要郵政代理。
