by a very fine black “S1” numeral obliterator, matching a very fine
“SHANGHAE A” c.d.s. alongside. On the reverse side, Hong Kong
c.d.s. (10 Oct), Naples and St. Peterburg c.d.s. First year usage
of HK QV 5 cents ovpt. 18c on a Treaty Port item. Very rare
franking and an exotic destination to Russia in 1880s. This is an
