Censored and re-sealed. Arrived New Jersey (13 Aug). Kalgan Russian PO stocked ordinary Russian stamps only. Until 1917, it was supplied with surch Chinese currency stamps. 2012 (Apr) David Feldman, lot 20048. 1918.5.31 張家口寄美國。一戰檢查掛號封，貼戰爭賑濟票3戈比 + 軍徽圖加蓋中國幣值1分 + 2分 + 3分 + 4分 + 10分，銷稀罕之張家口俄局T&S 5型 / Casey 6型日戳，旁貼掛號標籤。經橫濱。檢查並重封。8.13抵新澤西。張家口俄局只提供普通俄國票，直至1917年才開始提供加蓋中國幣值票。

1921 Urga (Jan) to Sanchuanchen via Min Chu. Red band cover, privately carried to Kalgan and f.w. Junk 3c, tied by Kalgan (14 Jan) cds. Transit Taiyuan (17 Jan), Fenyang (18 Jan) with Min Chu vertical seal on reverse for forwarding to Sanchuanchen. Urga Chinese PO was closed in Jan 1921 due to political chaos and the latest example recorded by Hellrigl was dated 18 Jan 1921. This one was not posted at Urga Chinese PO probably because the PO was already not functioning normally by that time. 1921.1.21 庫倫經民信局寄三泉鎮。紅條封，先私遞至張家口，再貼帆船3分，銷1.14張家口日戳。1.17經太原，1.18經汾陽，鈐“晉汾永和長分莊東口書”民信局直戳，以送至三泉鎮。庫倫中國郵局於1921年1月關閉，Hellrigl記錄最晚之信封為1月18日。此封未經庫倫中國郵局投遞可能是由於當時郵局服務已受限。經民信局轉遞更是難得。

Contrary to those taking Tatung-Peking-Siberia route for Europe, this mail headed south for Szechuan-Shanghai for Pacific route to USA. 1908.12 寧遠寄美國，貼蟠龍1角，銷寧遠腰框英漢日戳。12.31經雅州，1.9經重慶，1.28經上海清郵，1.29交上海日本客郵局。不同於走大同-北京-西伯利亞寄歐洲的例子，此封南下四川，經長江郵路到上海，再經太平洋郵路至美國。

Arrived Sinhsien (3 May). This cover predates the earliest record of airmail from Suiyuan since the end of WWII (8 Jul 1946) , not to mention that airmails from Suiyuan dated 1946 are already scarce. A great rarity for both Inner Mongolian and airmail postal history. 1946.4.21 歸綏寄忻縣。航空封，背貼中信版孫像2元十二方連，付23元國內航空信函郵資（溢貼1元），銷歸綏三格漢英點線日戳。5.3抵忻州。《檔案記憶中的綏遠郵政》記錄抗戰勝利後，從綏遠境內寄出之最早航空實寄封為1946年7月8日，此封更早。出自綏遠之1946年航空封本已少見，對內蒙郵政史或航空郵政而言均為珍品。

As for latter, as Linsi is a refueling stopover of the line, examples from Linsi are much rarer than those from Peiping or Shanghai. 1921年寄自林西之帆船1分郵資片及1931.6.6 歐亞歐亞航空公司首航封，自林西寄北平。前者鈐林西縣腰框英漢日戳。至於後者，由於林西為航線之加油中途站，故出自林西之首航封遠比上海或北平者少見。

Given the chaos after Russian Revolution in 1917, many Chinese merchants in Sinkiang remitted their assets back to mainland China. 500 rb is the maximum amount permitted. This type of registered label was not recorded by Danny Wong and Xie Wei Jing. 1918.5.7 伊寧寄天津。保險封，匯款500盧布，背貼俄國軍徽圖9枚，銷伊寧俄局K7A型日戳。隨後經天津\\日本客郵局。10.21抵天津俄局。1917年俄國革命後，不少新疆之中國商人因政局混亂而將資產匯寄回內地。500盧布是所容許之最高匯款銀碼。此款掛號標籤未記載於王劍智、謝偉景《新疆郵驛史》。
