The 1874 Macao typhoon, which struck on September 22–23, is considered the most devastating natural disaster in the city's history, causing nearly 5,000 deaths and widespread destruction “澳門船隻Concordia於1874年澳門颱風後擱淺於稻田上”之圖片明信片，未使用。甲戌風災發生在1874年9月22日到23日。澳門約有5,000人死亡，以當年澳門人口約60,000人計，死亡人數之高，亦是澳門史上最多人死亡的風災。

1830s outer warpper to Mrs. Russell Stugirs, Macao, sent “Sylph”. On reverse with scarce “Boat Office 10Cents Macao” type 5-1-1- cancel and Chinese name of the addressee. Choi stated that only 56 letters recorded with type 5-1-1 postmark. “Slyph” departed from Canton to Macao on Satuday since 16 Mar 1835. 1830年代郵簡封套，寄澳門之Russell Sturgis太太，寫有郵船“Sylph”批示，背面鈐少見之“Boat Office 10 Cents Macao”5-1-1型圓戳及“央士撻治”收件人譯音。蔡昌道記錄蓋有5-1-1型戳記之信件僅有56件。Slyph號自1935年3月16日起，逢星期六自澳門出發至廣州。

One of the two recorded examples in combination of these two handstamps. Cover No. 464 in “A Survey and Recorded of Pre-Adhesive Period Postal History of Macau 1616-1891” by Choi Cheong Too. One of the 82 covers applied with Royal Arms oval seal recorded by Dr. Andrew Cheung. 1844 Manila (22 Jun) to Canton via Macao. Entire letter, rated “2”, applied with “FILIPINAS / Manila” oval d.s. and scarce “MACAO / CORoMARITmo” type 1-2-1 oval h.s. Choi Cheong Too recoded only 15 examples of the type 1-2-1 oval h.s. and this one dated later than his record (10 Feb 1842). Also, it is the only recorded example in combination of FILIPINAS oval cancel and Macao forwarding post mark. An important rarity for Philippines and Macao collectors. With Philatelic Foundation Certificate 1844.6.22 馬尼拉經澳門寄廣州。郵簡，寫有郵資“2”，鈐“FILIPINAS / Manila”橢圓日戳及珍罕之“MACAO / CORoMARITmo”1-2-1型橢圓戳記。蔡昌道記錄，此戳僅見於15件封，而此例日期比蔡昌道之記錄（1842 年2月10日）更晚。難得。同為同時蓋有此菲律賓橢圓戳記之孤例。附證書。

Applied with scarce type 1-4-2 “CORREIO / MACAO / MARITIMO” cachet. Cover no. 589 in Choi Cheong Too’s survey of postal history of Macau 1616-1891. Choi stated that only ten letters recorded with type 1-4-2 postmark. 1847.8.7 由Russell Sturgis自馬尼拉經寄廣州旗昌洋行交Sammuel W Comstock。郵簡，寫有“via Pangasuran”字樣，鈐少見之1-4-2型“CORREIO MACAO MARITIMO”橢圓形戳記。蔡昌道“1916年至1891年澳門郵票發行前郵政史調查與紀錄”中之第589件封。鈐1-4-2型戳記之信件，蔡昌道記錄僅有十件。

Extraordingary forwarding agent seal. No. 764 cover in "A Survey and Recorded Postal History of Macau 1616-1891" by Choi Cheong Too. 1857年澳門F. Garreta寄直布羅陀郵政代理Michael Power交Jose Matia。郵簡，鈐“Encaminada / por / S.A.S.S.Q.S.M./L/H/ Gutierrerez/Hong Kong”轉運代理戳記、“PAID AT HONG KONG”小皇冠圓戳及香港8.24雙弧日戳。“S.A.S.S.Q.S.M.”為西班牙語“閣下忠僕，僅吻貴手”之縮寫。這款轉運代理戳記珍罕少見。《1616年至1891年澳門郵票發前郵政史調查與紀錄》中第764件封。

Rough edges and monting remnant on reverse. It is the earliest record of "REGISTADA" mark. Macao type 3-3-2 cds is also scarce as Choi Cheong Too only recorded 15 covers and postcards. Ex- F. Mayer. Only a few of them are in the hands of private collectors. Very scarce. 1885年澳門皇冠第一組及第二組再版票新全，無貼上品。為紀念1885年里斯本舉辦之第三屆萬國郵盟年會，葡萄牙郵政再版印刷了五百套皇冠票以作送給年會成員之禮物。當中僅有少量流入民間集郵家之手，十分稀罕難得。
