Military familiy letter was supposed to be postage free for airmail but this mail required surface mail. This postage was effective for only 10 days. 1949.4.18 霑益寄貴陽。軍人家書，貼印花稅票改值金圓30枚，合1500元國內平信郵資，銷雲南霑益三格點線日戳。鈐“軍人家書”圓戳及“交水路陸運”指示戳。4.19經昆明。4.24抵貴陽。軍人家書為航空免資，但此封要求“交水路陸運”。此郵資僅使用十天。
