Kiaochow issues are rather unusual as most of them were franked with numeral or Eagle stamps. 1902.12.11 德軍戰艦Herta號寄德國，貼德佔膠州5芬尼x2，銷德國海軍39局日戳，旁見“nachgesandt”橫戳。1.11抵Kiel，改寄Wilhelmshafen，1.12抵達。德國海軍郵件大多貼數目字及鷹徽圖票，貼德佔膠州票較少見。

SMS Arcona was off Chinwangtao on that day, Usage of German Kiaochow stamps on naval mails are scarce as numeral or Eagle stamps were available on board. 1908.8.13 德國戰艦Arcona號寄德國，貼德佔膠州2分雙連 + 10分，合第二級重量郵資，銷德海軍17局日戳。9.1抵Peine。Arcona號當時正在秦島島。由於船上應提供數目字票及鷹徽圖票，故貼德佔膠州票難得。
