The 1874 Macao typhoon, which struck on September 22–23, is considered the most devastating natural disaster in the city's history, causing nearly 5,000 deaths and widespread destruction “澳門船隻Concordia於1874年澳門颱風後擱淺於稻田上”之圖片明信片，未使用。甲戌風災發生在1874年9月22日到23日。澳門約有5,000人死亡，以當年澳門人口約60,000人計，死亡人數之高，亦是澳門史上最多人死亡的風災。

Arrived Gibraltar (24 Aug). “S.A.S.S.Q.S.M.B” is the abbreviation for “Su Atento Seguro Servidor Que Su Mano Besa” (“Your faithfultrustworthy servant who kisses your hand” in English). Extraordingary forwarding agent seal. No. 764 cover in "A Survey and Recorded Postal History of Macau 1616-1891" by Choi Cheong Too. 1857年澳門F. Garreta寄直布羅陀郵政代理Michael Power交Jose Matia。郵簡，鈐“Encaminada / por / S.A.S.S.Q.S.M./L/H/ Gutierrerez/Hong Kong”轉運代理戳記、“PAID AT HONG KONG”小皇冠圓戳及香港8.24雙弧日戳。“S.A.S.S.Q.S.M.”為西班牙語“閣下忠僕，僅吻貴手”之縮寫。這款轉運代理戳記珍罕少見。《1616年至1891年澳門郵票發前郵政史調查與紀錄》中第764件封。
