1900 a pair of covers from Chinese Expeditionary Force,sending by
Sergeant G Davis from 54th Native Field Hospital and
LieutenantRoger Keyes from HMS Fame at Hong Kong respectively.Roger
Keyes was reported to be one of the first men to climb over the
Peking walls and was later promoted to be the Admiral of the Fleet
but the content of the letter implied that he may not be the actual
person who planted the Union Jack in Peking. Very Scarce naval
letters.
