Japan, East Mongolia People’s Autonomous Government was founded on
19 Jan 1946. Banknotes were issued in March. However, both the
Nationalists and Communists dislike their separatist inclination.
Communists led by Ulanfu was successful in convincing them to
change cause and embrace regional autonomy instead. On 25 May, it
was re-organised as Hsingan Provincial Government, and on 1 May
1947, merged to become Inner Mongolia Autonomous Government.
Subsequently, East Mongolia Bank was reorganized as Inner Mongolia
Bank.
1946年東蒙銀行佰圓。VF-XF。1946年1月19日，東蒙古人民自治政府成立，決定建立東蒙銀行，當年3月1日，東蒙銀行正式成立，並於同月發行暫行流通券，1946年3月下旬，烏蘭夫率代表與東蒙古人民自治政府代表在承德協商談判，達成共識，1946年5月26日取消東蒙古人民自治政府，成立興安省政府，1947年5月1日，成立內蒙古自治政府，同年6月1日東蒙銀行改組為內蒙銀行。
