view. "The Whole Country is Red" was issued on 25 Nov 1968.
However, an editor at China Cartographic Publishing House noticed
that Spratly and Paracel Islands were missing from the map, as well
as the borders with Mongolia, Bhutan, and Myanmar being incorrectly
drawn. As a result, all Chinese post offices had to stop selling
the stamp and return all copies, with only a small quantity making
it to private collectors. A rarity of PRC philately.

1968年11月25日，全國山河一片紅於北京等地發行。然而，中國地圖出版社編輯陳潮發現該地圖的中國和蒙古、緬甸、不丹的國界線與官方國界線不符，而且沒有畫出南海諸島。陳潮把這一錯誤向郵電部反映，郵電部迅速下令各地郵局停止銷售該郵票。少量郵票流入市場，後來成為中國的眾多集郵珍品之一。
