1930 Fenchow (12 Feb) to USA, returned to Fenchow but became dead
letter at Peking. Chinese style cover, f.w. Junk 4c x2 + 1c x2 on
reverse, tied by Fenchow bilingual cds. Arrived USA (13 Mar) with
"Received in bad condition" cachet. Returned to sender with
"RETOUR", "INCONNU" and "REBUTS" cachet. Arrived Peking Dead Letter
Office (20 Jun). Cover opened to look for information of sender and
resealed with 6th print officially resealed label and "RECEIVED IN
BROKEN CONDITION & OFFICIALLY SEALED AT PEKING" cachet. Attempted
to Fenchow on 24 Jun but returned to Peking again on 27 Jun.

condition”橫戳並退回寄件人，另見“RETOUR”、“INCONNU”、“REBUTS”等指示戳。6.20抵北京死信局。封被打開以尋求寄件人信息，並以第六版民國代封票重封，鈐“RECEIVED
IN BROKEN & OFFICIALLY SEALED AT
