F.w. Empress Dowager surch small figure 2c/2ca, tied by Customs Shanghai cds (15 Mar) upon transit. In combination with Peace and Commerce ovpt. Chine 25c x2, tied by Shanghai French PO (16 Mar) cds. Arrived Paris (25 Apr). A horizontal slit through the front and vertical trim at back. Unusual with additional stamp. 1897.3.3 法國駐京公使館寄法國，鈐“中國郵政/信力已付/北京”三圈圓戳及北京海關日戳。加貼慈壽加蓋小字2分，銷上海海關3.15日戳。加貼和平及商貿神像加蓋Chine 25生丁x2，銷上海法局3.16日戳。4.25抵巴黎。封左側被裁。加貼慈壽票十分奇特少見。

Four stamps on front tied by Customs Foochow cds while two stamps on reverse tied by Customs Shanghai (3 Apr) in transit. In combination with Japanese 5s + 2x 10s, tied by IJPO Shanghai (5 Apr) cds. Transit Yokohama (10 Apr), Victoria, BC (27 Apr), Seattle (28 Apr) to arrive Longview, Texas (4 May). Tatty, Corner damage affecting stamps on edge. Rather late example of Customs Foochow cds. 1897.3.30 美國駐福州領事館寄美國，鈐領事館日戳，正背共貼慈壽加蓋小字5分蓋5分銀x6，正面四枚銷福州海關日戳，背面兩枚銷上海海關4.3中轉戳。加貼日本小判5錢 + 2x 10錢，銷上海日局4.5日戳。4.10經橫濱，4.27經加拿大維多利亞，4.28經西雅圖。5.4抵Longview。右上角有損影響郵票。為福州海關之較晚例子。
