Very early example of Customs Chinkiang as the earliest record in "Customs Dater (1875-1913)" was 29 Mar 1879. 1878.4.7 鎮江寄美國，背面鈐鎮江海關A型日戳。4.8經上海工部郵局。正貼日本小判5錢x2，銷空十字殺手戳，旁鈐上海日局4.10中轉戳。4.21經橫濱，5.9經三藩市，5.21改寄紐約。《海關日戳（1875-1913）》中最早之鎮江海關封為1879年3月29日，故此例極早。

Indicia tied by S1 obliterator in black, alongside with Shanghai BPO (24 Apr) cds. Transit Hong Kong (29 Apr). Only one usage of the type of Customs Wenchow ciruclar postmark was recorded by Paul K S Chang, dated May 1881. Probably the earliest cover from Customs Wenchow. 1880年溫州海關寄英國。香港維多利亞女皇像3仙郵資片，鈐極罕之溫州海關紅色到倒無日期圓戳。4.24經上海海關。郵資圖銷S1黑色殺手戳，旁鈐上海英局4.24日戳。4.29經香港。此款溫州海關圓戳於張愷升的記錄中僅見一例，日期為1881年5月。可能是溫州關最早的郵品，珍罕。

Transit Shanghai (27 Jul) with dollar chop. Arrived Shanghai LPO (28 Jul). Meyer & Co. was established 1866 in Hong Kong by Eduaro Meyer and his brother H. D. Johannes Meyer. E. Meyer was honorary Korean Consul in Hamburg, Germany 1886-1906. The Meyer company exists in Hamburg until today. 1898.7.25 世昌洋行寄上海之印度新金山中國渣打銀行經理，貼日本版蟠龍2分+4分，銷仁川海關日戳。7.27經上海落地，鈐大圓戳。7.28到達上海工部郵局。世昌洋行創立於1866年，由漢堡商人Eduaro Meyer及其兄弟H. D. Johannes Meyer於香港成立。E. Meyer在1886至1906年間曾任韓國駐德國漢堡榮譽領事。世昌洋行至今仍在漢堡營業。

6 June 1892 – Germany 10pf UPU Postal Card from Peking to Köln A Germany 10 Pfennig UPU postal card, dispatched from Peking to Köln, Germany. The indicium is cancelled by “KAISERLICH DEUTSCHE POSTAGENTUR SHANGHAI 11/6 92” c.d.s. in black. On the obverse is also a fine strike of the blue double-ring “CUSTOMS TIENTSIN / JUN 7 / 92”. On the reverse appear two further strikes: “I.G. OF CUSTOMS PEKING / JUN 6 / 92” in blue and “CUSTOMS SHANGHAI / JUN 11 / 92” in black. At the lower left corner, there are traces of a missing adhesive and a partial Customs cancellation. Based on the 1892 date of use, the missing stamp is almost certainly a 3 candareens Small Dragon, applied to pay the internal Customs postage within China. A good example of a Germany UPU postal card carried entirely within the Imperial Chinese Customs Postal System before transmission abroad. The combination of Peking, Tientsin, and Shanghai Customs markings alongside the German Post Office at Shanghai illustrates the transitional handling of foreign-origin stationery within the Chinese Customs framework. 1892年6月6日 – 德國10芬尼UPU明信片由北京寄科隆德國10芬尼UPU明信片，由北京寄往德國科隆。票面印花銷「KAISERLICH DEUTSCHE POSTAGENTUR SHANGHAI 11/6/92」黑色日戳，正面並蓋藍色雙圈「CUSTOMS TIENTSIN / JUN 7 / 92」。背面另見兩枚戳記：「I.G. OF CUSTOMS PEKING / JUN 6 / 92」藍色及「CUSTOMS SHANGHAI / JUN 11 / 92」黑色。信片左下角留有殘跡及部分海關戳痕，顯示曾貼附郵票。根據1892年使用年份，應為小龍郵票3分銀，用以支付中國境內海關郵資。此為一件頗具特色且稀見之德國UPU明信片，全程經由中國帝國海關郵政系統寄遞之郵史實物。北京、天津及上海三地海關戳記與德國駐滬郵局戳並存，展現了外國郵政文具在清代海關郵政過渡時期的特殊處理方式。
