Arrived Hoihow BPO (17 Aug) with Webb type E cds. Showing extremely scarce "MISSENT TO HOIHOW" marking on address side. Redirected to Kiaochow via Shanghai Chinese PO (27 Aug). Arrived Tsingtau German PO (5 Sep). It is the only recorded example of the "MISSENT TO HOIHOW" marking. 1898.6.25 俄國4戈比郵資片自聖彼得堡寄膠州，誤寄瓊州，鈐圓戳殺手戳及聖彼得堡始發日戳。8.14經香港。8.17抵海口英局，鈐Webb E型日戳及極罕之“MISSENT TO HOIHOW”橫戳。8.27經上海清郵改寄膠州。9.5抵青島德局。此為“MISSENT TO HOIHOW”橫戳之存世孤例。

1901 (24 May) Imperial Korean Post 1c stationery card in blue from Chemulpo to Yokohama, tied by Chemulpo cds in French. Arrived Yokohama (30 May). On 1 Apr 1899, Japanese post raised postcard rate to 1-1/2s while Korean Post rate was 1ch. As the mails between Japan and Korea were applied with domestic rate due to the postal convention, using Korean postcards was 50% cheaper. 1901.5.24 大韓帝國藍色1錢郵資片，自濟物浦寄橫濱，銷濟物浦法文日戳。5.30抵橫濱。1899年4月1日，日本郵政上調明信片郵資至1錢五厘，但韓國為5錢。由於往來日韓之郵件採用國內郵資，故使用韓國郵資片便宜一半。
