1942 (30 Jun) Mongolian illustrative type A (Archer) postcard from Ulanbator to Moscow, f.w. pictorial issue surch 20m/1t, tied by Ulanbator cds in violet, alongside with USSR military censor mark. Arrived Moscow. Mongolian illustrative postcards are extremely scarce. It is one of the only 4 examples recroded by Hellrigl and two of the them are of type A (Archer) image. The franking of surcharged pictorial issue even elevated this piece. Illustration fig. 212a, p. 275 in "The Postal History of Mongolia 1841-1941" by W C Hellrigl. A rarity. 1942.6.30 蒙古A型（射手）美術明信片，自烏蘭巴托寄莫斯科，貼蒙古革命票改值20m/1t，銷烏蘭巴托紫色日戳，旁鈐蘇聯軍事檢查章。抵莫斯科。蒙古美術明信片極為稀罕難得，此為Hellrigl記錄的僅四件之一，當中兩件為A型（射手）圖案。貼用蒙古革命改值票更是畫龍點睛。Hellrigl著《The Postal History of Mongolia 1841-1941》第275頁圖212a原件。

Arrived Novosibirsk (21 Apr) with censor mark. Mongolian illustrative postcards are extremely scarce. It is one of the only 4 examples recroded by Hellrigl and the only one with type B (monument) image. The franking of surcharged pictorial issue and Baiantumin Han cds even elevated this piece. Illustration fig. 213, p. 277 in "The Postal History of Mongolia 1841-1941" by W C Hellrigl. Transit Tientsin Russian PO (3 Dec), Tiensin Chinese PO (3 Dec), Shanghai (6 Dec), Yunnanfu (21 Dec). Redirected to Shanghai via Kweiyang (29 Dec), Shanghai (15 Jan). Returned to Sweden via Petrograd, censored and resealed. Arrived Stockholm (24 Oct). Return was delayed due to 1917 Russian Revolution. 1916年瑞典寄雲南府，改寄上海，後退回瑞典。貼瑞典票35歐爾。12.3經天津俄局，12.3經天津中國郵局，12.6經上海，12.21抵雲南府。改寄上海，12.29經貴陽，1.15抵達。再經彼得格勒退回瑞典，檢查並重封。10.24抵斯德哥爾摩。退回時因1917年俄國革命而受阻。
