1885 Swatow (30 Jun) to Hong Kong, applied with Swatow BPO Webb type B cds in black. F.w. Hong Kong QV 5c, tied by B62 obliterator upon arrival, matching with Hong Kong (1 Jul) arrival cds. According to Webb, S2 was withdrawn in the latter half of 1885 when the general withdrawal of treaty port obliterator took place. Very peculiar example of leaving the stamp uncancelled when departing from Swatow. Ex- Percival David. 1885.6.30 汕頭寄香港，鈐汕頭英局Webb B型黑色日戳。貼香港維多利亞女皇像5仙，銷B62殺手戳，另鈐香港7.1到達戳。Webb指S2殺手戳在1885年下半年連其他商埠之殺手戳一同被停用。此封於離開汕頭時未有銷票，十分奇特難得。大維德爵士舊藏。

This type was probably used by the main Swatow postal agency. 1888.5 汕頭寄美國。印刷品封，貼香港維多利亞女皇像2仙，銷汕頭英局D型日戳。寫有“via San Francisco”批示。封舌缺失。Webb指此戳深受收藏家青睞，蓋於封上的例子僅有兩件。此戳應用於汕頭的主要郵政代理。

Arrived Hoihow BPO (17 Aug) with Webb type E cds. Showing extremely scarce "MISSENT TO HOIHOW" marking on address side. Redirected to Kiaochow via Shanghai Chinese PO (27 Aug). Arrived Tsingtau German PO (5 Sep). It is the only recorded example of the "MISSENT TO HOIHOW" marking. 1898.6.25 俄國4戈比郵資片自聖彼得堡寄膠州，誤寄瓊州，鈐圓戳殺手戳及聖彼得堡始發日戳。8.14經香港。8.17抵海口英局，鈐Webb E型日戳及極罕之“MISSENT TO HOIHOW”橫戳。8.27經上海清郵改寄膠州。9.5抵青島德局。此為“MISSENT TO HOIHOW”橫戳之存世孤例。

1861 (10 Nov) printed circular from Kanagawa to Batavia. Transit Shanghai BPO (7 Dec) with scarce Webb type 4 "Shanghae Paid" index C and type 5 "Shanghae" index C cds. Further transit Hogn Kong (11 Dec). Showing postage annotations "4" (pence ship letter fee from Kanagawa to Shanghai), "4" (Shanghai to Singapore by P&O) and "25" (Dutch Indies delivery charge). Less than 10 covers with this lcoally made Shanghae paid cds by Proud while predating the record of Webb on these two cds, being the earliest recorded example. It is probably also the earliest known printed matter from Kanagawa. The destination of Dutch East Indies even elevates its rarity. 2011 (5 Sep) Interaia Auctions "The Nostalgia Collection of Hong Kogn and China Printed Mail Matter", lot 2692. 1861.11.10 印刷品自神奈川寄巴達維亞。12.7經上海英國客郵局，稀罕之Webb 4型“Shanghae Paid”C字日戳及5型“Shanghae”C字日戳。12.11經香港。寫有多處郵資字樣包括“4”（神奈川至上海船信郵資）、“4”（經鐵行輪船公司自上海寄新加坡郵資）及“25”（荷屬東印度郵資）。Proud記錄中蓋有此上海本地製日戳之信封不過十件，此件日期亦較Webb的記錄更早，故為最早記錄之例子。同時可能為神奈川寄出之最早印刷品。寄荷屬東印度亦錦上添花。2011.9.5 Interasia Auctions “The Nostalgia Collection of Hong Kong and China Printed Mail Matter”，拍品號2692。
