1863 England to Shanghai,rediretced to Yokohama. Entire letter, f.w. QV 1sh x5 + 4d for quadruple rate via Marseilles by P&O packet, tied by "2" obliterator with London d.s. Transit Hong Kong (19 Jul). Arrived Shanghai BPO with scarce Webb type 5 locally made "SHANGHAE" cds without date and type A cds. It is the only recorded example of "undated" type 5 cds and the latest record of its type. Bottom right corner damaged but not affecting postmark. 1863年英國寄上海，改寄橫濱。郵簡，貼維多利亞女皇像1先令X5 + 4便士，合鐵行輪船公司經馬賽郵路之四倍郵資，銷“2”殺手戳。7.19經香港。抵上海英局，鈐少見難得之本地製Webb 5型日戳（無日期）及A型日戳。此為未植日期之5型日戳存世弧例，同時為最晚之5型日戳記錄。封右下角有損但不影響郵戳。

Arrived Hoihow BPO (17 Aug) with Webb type E cds. Showing extremely scarce "MISSENT TO HOIHOW" marking on address side. Redirected to Kiaochow via Shanghai Chinese PO (27 Aug). Arrived Tsingtau German PO (5 Sep). It is the only recorded example of the "MISSENT TO HOIHOW" marking. 1898.6.25 俄國4戈比郵資片自聖彼得堡寄膠州，誤寄瓊州，鈐圓戳殺手戳及聖彼得堡始發日戳。8.14經香港。8.17抵海口英局，鈐Webb E型日戳及極罕之“MISSENT TO HOIHOW”橫戳。8.27經上海清郵改寄膠州。9.5抵青島德局。此為“MISSENT TO HOIHOW”橫戳之存世孤例。

1877 Hiogo, Japan to England, f.w. Penny Red 1d x8, tied by extremely scarce "BRITISH CONSULATE / HIOGO" coat of arms seal. Arrived London (31 Mar) with additional strike of FB obliterator. With RPSL certificate. In 1863, Britain set up consulate at Hiogo with a postal agency inside. Volume of mails were not inconsiderable. The postal agency was then moved to Kobe. This cover dated 1877 and was still delivered by British Consualte at Hiogo while D30 obliterator was already available. Unique. 1877年兵庫寄英國，貼紅便士8枚，銷極罕之英國駐兵庫領事館盾徽橢圓戳記。3.31抵倫敦，貼票再銷FB殺手戳。附皇家郵學會證書。 1863年，英國於兵庫設計領事館兼作郵政代理。信件量一直不多，後來該郵政代理移至神戶。此封出自1877年，當時神戶英局之郵務量已較高，並已使用D30殺手戳，但此封仍經使館寄出，孤品。

Transit with Singapore-to-Hong Kong marine sorter (12 Jul). The British troops occupied the Komundo Island (Port Hamilton in English) in order to compete against Russian invasion of Korea. A battery was built. 1885.6.10 英國經香港寄巨文島（英文稱漢米爾頓港）之皇家海軍陸戰隊Captain Gordon。報哀封，貼維多利亞女皇像5便士，銷Huntly雙聯日戳。7.12鈐新加坡至香港海上分揀日戳。為對抗俄國入侵朝鮮，英國佔領巨文島並興建堡壘。
