1911 Amoy (7 Feb) to “Amoy Hallway”, Bangkok. Remittance red band cover, f.w. Coiling Dragon 2c + 4c in pair on reverse, tied by Amoy bisected bilingual cds. Transit Amoy French PO (7 Feb), Hong Kong (10 Feb). Arrived Bangkok (19 Feb). “Amoy Hallway” refers to the community of Amoy immigrants by Chao Phraya River. It is the earliest recorded money order remittance cover from Amoy. Most of the Minnan people resided in other Southeast Asian countries instead of Siam. Examples are therefore more unusual. Cover opened out for display. 1911.2.7 廈門寄曼谷“廈門廊”。銀信紅條封，貼蟠龍2分 + 4分雙連，銷廈門半切漢英日戳。同日經廈門法局，2.10經香港。2.19抵曼谷。此為廈門寄出之最早銀信僑批。廈門廊即為湄南河邊上廈門僑民之聚居地。閩南僑胞到暹羅謀生者較其他東南亞國家少，存世郵例亦較罕。封剖開以作展示。許茂春著《東南亞華人與僑批》第60頁1-120原件。
