1950 (May) a pair of covers from the miliary on Kinmen to Keelung,
f.w. domestic letter unit stamp, SYS Silver Yuan and surch issues,
tied by rim of postmark or Fukkien Kinmen cds. Arrived Keelung. One
cover was seny by Tungshan 58th Division on 11 May which is the day
of PLA landing on Tungshan Island. The remaining ROC force
retreated to Kinmen. Superb examples of the Battle of Tungshan
Island.

一對金門國軍寄基隆封，貼國內信函單位票、孫像銀圓及改值票，以戳邊滾銷或銷福建金門日戳。抵基隆。當中一件出自“東山五十八師”，日期為5月11日，正為解放軍登陸東山島之日。其後國軍殘部撤退至金門。出色之東山島戰役郵例。
