1890 (May) letter to the King of Nepal Bir Shamsher by Sheng Tai, the Chinese Amban in Tibet, Darjeeling, applied with large red seal. Very rare Amban letter sent outside Tibet as the Chinese Amban Shengtai was in Calcutta to sign the Tibet Sikkim Boundary Convention by that time. The Convention recognized a British protectorate over Sikkim and demarcated the Sikkim–Tibet border. 1890年5月駐藏大臣升泰寄廓爾喀國王Bir Shamsher，鈐紅色官印。出自西藏以外的駐藏大臣公文非常稀罕。當時升泰正在加爾各答簽署《中英藏印條約》。主要內容是清朝承認哲孟雄（今錫金）為英國的保護國，劃定哲孟雄與西藏的邊界。

Extremely historical. Illustration from “Tibet Stamps and Postal History” by Steven Chazen and Danny Wong fig 8, p.69. As the Jiaqing Emperor refused to support Nepal, Nepal turned to be the vassal state of Britain. 1815年清朝駐藏大臣對廓爾喀國王之回信，明確拒絕介入英廓戰爭及支援廓爾喀。蔡盛及王劍智著《青康藏郵驛史》第69頁圖例8號原件。由於嘉慶拒絕支援，廓爾喀淪為英國附庸並獲得特權。極具歷史意義。

Limited For Use in Szechuan 5c in strip of 5 + 25c, in total of 50c international letter + domestic airmail rate, tied by Kangting bilingual cds. Transit Chengtu (4 Apr), Shanghai (6 Apr). On front with “AIRMAIL SERVICE IN CHINA ONLY” cachet. Scarce example of Batang, dated just after the confrontation between KMT and CPC during Long March. The usage of Kangting instead of Tatsienlu cds is also rather early. 1936.3.28 康定寄美國。航空封，貼孫像加蓋限四川貼用5分直五連 + 2角5分，合5角國際信函 + 國內航空郵資，銷康定三格點線日戳。4.4經成都，4.6經上海。正鈐“AIRMAIL SERVICE IN CHINA ONLY”橫戳。出自巴塘之稀罕郵例，日期更與長征期間國共追逐對峙時十分接近。另外亦是使用“康定”而非“打箭鑪”郵戳之甚早例子。

Khamba Jong cds is already scarce, not to mention that only a few mails of temporary PO B are known to exist. 1903.10.18 印度愛德華七世半安娜郵資片，自崗巴宗寄印度，銷珍罕難得之崗巴宗B1型日戳。10.20經臨時郵局B。10.23抵Kurseong。崗巴宗日戳本已少見，而臨時郵局B之日戳存世更只有數件。

This PO was attached to Younghusband’s headquarter and only one date of usage was recorded in “Tibet Stamps and Postal History” (20 Dec 1903). However, this example was even ealier. 1903.12.20 榮赫鵬寄大吉嶺的妻子，貼印度愛德華七1安娜，銷極少見之臨時郵局1之B2型日戳。同日抵大吉嶺。此局為榮赫鵬總局之隨軍郵局，此日戳在《青康藏郵驛史》中僅見1920.12.20之使用日期，然而此例更早。
