SS Great Republic which departed from Hong Kong picked up US bound mail from Shanghai at Yokoaham and arived San Francisco on 18 Sep. 1869.8.20 上海經郵船Great Republic寄美國，貼華盛頓10分，帶齒孔移位變異，銷SHA-Can6型空十字戳，旁鈐美國駐上海領事館1型日戳及少見之PMSS“CHINA AND JAPAN STEAM SERVICE”橢圓形紅戳。9.20經三藩市。SS Great Republic自香港出發，在橫濱接收上海寄美國之郵件，並於9月18日抵達三藩市。
