1943 a pair of WWI Government of Burma OHMS airmail covers from
Major JGW Evans to his brother in England, f.w. KGVI issues. With
“by fast airmail” annotation. Major Evans was part of the Burma
Frontier Force in China. He was killed when leading his patrol of
Lahu Levies which was the smallest operating unit in Burma and
fought from December 1942 until Major Evans death on April 8th 1943
at Mong Pawk.
1943年兩件二戰緬甸政府公文封，由J.G.W. Evans上校寄英國的兄 弟，貼英國佐治六世票，寫有“By fash Air
Mail”批示。J.G.W. Evans上校為為緬甸邊防軍一員，他在指揮拉祜族部隊時陣亡。西姆 拉為日本佔領後之緬甸流亡政府所在地。
