1948 Tachang (1 Aug) to Hankow, returned to sender, f.w. SYS $50000 x2 + surch $5000 x3, in total of $115000 for domestic registered airmail rate, tied by Kiangsu Tachang agency No. 1 cds. Arrived Hankow (3 Aug) but addressee was not found. A slip was attached and departed from Hankow (3 Aug) back to Tachang (8 Aug) with postal saving cds. First day cover of new postage which was effective between 1 and 8 Aug 1948 only. Return mail and Tachang postal saving cds are also interesting.

1948.8.1 大場寄漢口，退回寄件人，背貼孫像5萬元x2 + 改值5000元x3，合11萬5千元國內掛號航空郵資，銷江蘇大場“代一” 三格日戳。8.3抵漢口，但未能找到收件人。貼有憑單指示退回，8.3離開漢口，8.3抵大場，鈐郵政儲金日戳。郵資首日封，此郵資僅於1948年8月1日至8日間生效。退回郵件及大場郵政儲金日戳同樣有趣。
