1903 Shanhaikwan (31 Jul) to Germany. Russian 3k PSC, reply portion of double card, uprated by 1k, tied by scarce Shanhaikwan Russian PO T&S type 2 cds. Transit Chinese Eastern Railway line 262 (4 Aug) with T&S type 1 serial 3 cds. Further transit Moscow (19 Aug). Arrived Germany (3 Sep). T&S only recorded this cds on one stampless cover as transit. T&S also stated that postal materials of line 262 during early 1900s are rare as only several loose stamps recorded.

1903.7.31 山海關寄德國。俄國3戈比郵資片，雙片之回片，加貼1戈比，銷少見之山海關俄局T&S 2型日戳。8.4經中東鐵路262線，鈐少見之T&S 1型3字日戳。8.19經莫斯科。9.3抵德國。山海關俄局2型日戳在T&S記錄中僅見一件蓋於無貼票封上作中轉戳的例子。T&S另指出，1900年代初中東鐵路262線之存世例子十分稀罕少見，其記錄中僅見數枚散票。
