1861 (May 25) a good cover in grey blue color sent from Tientsin to Calain, France, franked with 2 x French Ceres 20c in blue with moderate margin, tied by “CECB” lozenges cancellation, boxed “PD” in red, a very fine French military c.d.s. “CORPS EXP. CHINE / BAU B / 25 MAI 61”. On the reverse, a couple of French arrival c.d.s. (20 July). French military base BAU B office has removed from Chefoo to Tientsin since October 1860 till October 1861. A good quality mail showing the footprints of French troops during the Second Opium War.
