1862 and 1864 a pair of concessionary covers from the British Navy member in China to England via Marseilles, f.w. QV stamps in value of 6d and 10d respectively. As the rate for military personnel was 6d (via Southampton) or 10d (via Marseilles), the 6d cover was preculiar.

1862及1864年一對英國海軍成員由香港經馬賽寄英國，分別貼維多利女皇像票合6便士及10便士。優軍郵資為正常郵資一半， 若經修咸頓為6便士，經馬賽為10便士。貼用6便士者耐人尋味。
