Webb type D index A cds is curiously scarce as most examples are index B, Dr. Andrew Cheung recorded less than 8 examples on this cds on covers. Plus a 1904 Canton to Canada cover with type Dii (index B; double digit year) cds.

1905.6.16 廣州寄美國，貼香港愛德華七世10仙，銷少見之廣州英局Webb Div型（A字，單位數年份）日戳。6.26經香港。8.3抵華盛頓。廣州英局D型A字日戳甚為珍罕，皆因大多存世例子均為B字。張文德醫生記錄鈐Div型日戳之封片不多於八件。另附一件1904年廣州寄加拿大封，鈐Dii型（B字，雙倍數年份）日戳。
