1968 Nepal to Lhasa. Registered cover, f.w. 43rd Anniv of the Birth of King Mahendra 15p in block of 6 + Freedom from Hunger 8x 10p on both sides, tied by faint cds. All Freedom from Hunger stamps were obliterated as PRC was undergoing severe famine. On front with registered label. Arrived Lhasa (13 Mar). This type of obliterated mails were already scarce, not to mention with large franking.

1968年尼泊爾寄拉薩。掛號封，正背貼馬亨德拉國王四十三歲誕辰15p六方連 + 國際免饑年8x 10p，銷模糊之日戳。當年中國正值三年自然災害，故國際免饑年郵票被塗抺。此類被塗抺郵件本已少見，多枚連票更是少見。
