On Field Service cover, frankless, applied with extremely scarce Experimental PO C-22 (31 May) origin cds and Padong arrival cds (1 Jun). With original letter on the death of Lt E Hudleston. The only known On Field Service Sandbach cover. Only 4 covers of C-22 are known.

1889.5 Rhenock Ridge寄Padong錫金野戰軍Sandbach上尉。軍郵公事封，無貼票，鈐極罕之實驗郵局C-22始發日戳。6.1抵Padong。附原信，講述Lt E Hudleston之逝世。此為Sandbach書信中的唯一On Field Service軍郵公事封。而C-22實驗郵局之存世封亦僅有四件。
