1932 Italian gunboat Ermanno Carlotto (3 May) to Rome. Picture postcard, f.w. 700th Anniv of the Death of St. Antonius 20c, tied by scarce "R N ERMANNO CARLOTTO" cds with date inverted variety. Arrived Ministero della Mariana Roma. Plus an extra stamp piece also tied by Ermanno Carlotto cds. Ermanno Carlotto was a Italian river gunboat. After the Italian armistice of 1943 she served in the Imperial Japanese Navy as Narumi, while after the end of World War II she was used by the Navy of ROC and PRC.
