1877 Hiogo, Japan to England, f.w. Penny Red 1d x8, tied by extremely scarce "BRITISH CONSULATE / HIOGO" coat of arms seal. Arrived London (31 Mar) with additional strike of FB obliterator. With RPSL certificate. In 1863, Britain set up consulate at Hiogo with a postal agency inside. Volume of mails were not inconsiderable. The postal agency was then moved to Kobe. This cover dated 1877 and was still delivered by British Consualte at Hiogo while D30 obliterator was already available. Unique.

1877年兵庫寄英國， 貼紅便士8枚，銷極罕之英國駐兵庫領事館盾徽橢圓戳記。3.31抵倫敦，貼票再銷FB殺手戳。附皇家郵學會證書。 1863年，英國於兵庫設計領事館兼作郵政代理。信件量一直不多，後來該郵政代理移至神戶。此封出自1877年，當時神戶英局之郵務量已較高，並已使用D30殺手戳，但此封仍經使館寄出，孤品。
