Transit Hong Kong (8 May). Some researchers believe that type VI exists while some believe it is a worn type II. Anyway, still an unusual postmark.

1883.5.4 上海寄英國，貼香港維多利亞女皇像10仙，銷VI型黑色S1殺手戳，旁鈐上海英局Webb Ei型日戳。寫有“pr English Mail”批示。5.8經香港。部分人相佔IV型S1曾存在，另外部分人則認為VI型實為損耗後的II型。但無論如何，仍為難得的一例。
