1914 Deli to Tsungkow. Red band cover, frankless, with annotation of year 1914 and Tsungkow private courier forwarding vertical cachet. Although Qiaopiju was already well developed in early 19th century, private courier mails still existed. Late example of private courier.

1914年日里籠葛寄松口。紅條封，無貼票，寫有“公元1914之信”及“松口溪南張淼生帶望速回信 / 交謝同利准于正月十二日起行”直戳。雖然荷屬東印度之僑批局在二十世紀初已有相當發展，但水客僑批仍有出現。此為相當晚期之水客僑批。許茂春著《東南亞華人與僑批》第248頁6-53原件。
