1891 Hong Kong QV 5th surch issue 50c/48c in horizontal pair, left stamp with Chinese character at right variety (Yang 46). MH.R N Gurevitch recorded that this variety is probably contrived. Still, an interesting example.

1891年香港維多利亞女皇像第五次改值50仙蓋48仙橫雙連新，左方一枚中文字加蓋於右邊（楊目46），背貼。雖然R N Gurevitch認為此變異應為私蓋，但仍十分有趣難得。
