Arrived Taiyuan (20 Feb) but redirected to Peking (16 Feb) and Foochow (3 Mar) subsequently. Affixed with imperial 1st issue officially sealed label with Opened by mistake annotation on reverse. Interasia recorded only four covers used before 1911 with 1st issue officially sealed label and the earliest one dated 7 Nov 1905 and the second earli- est was 19 Jul 1907. This one, however, was dated between, being the second earliest known.
