An absolute rarity. 1954 Lhasa to Kalimpong via Temporary PO C-622, f.w. Tibet 3rd issue 4tr on reverse, tied by Lhasa bilingual h.s. In combintion with Indian 2a, tied by scarce Temporary PO C-622 (29 Sep) cds. Arrived Kalimpong (6 Oct). Cover roughly opened at right. In Jun 1954, Gyantse suffered from a severe flood. A post office at Saugang was turned into temporary PO C-622 in Jul which operated for 9 months. Only about 10 covers of this temporary PO are known.1954年拉薩經臨時郵局C-622寄噶倫堡，背西藏獅圖4章噶，銷拉薩圓戳。加貼印度票2安娜，銷少見之臨時郵局C-622日戳（9.22）。10.6抵噶倫堡。封右側打開。1954年6月，大水淹沒江孜縣城，故印度在少崗鄉成立C-622臨時郵局。該局實寄封存世僅約十件。

According to Steve Chazen and Danny Wong, there was a period of not conducing censorship in Tibet between Oct 1940 and Jun 1942, but this pair was still censored in India.1941年一對自亞東英局寄英美之封片，貼印度佐治五世及六世票，銷亞東英局日戳。均鈐印度檢查三角戳。蔡盛及王劍智記錄西藏於1940年10月至1942年6月間不實施郵政檢查，但這對封片仍需於印度受檢。

Steve Chazen and Danny Wong recorded that between Jul 1940 and Jun 1942, there was a period of not censoring on Tibetan mails. Example of this cachet is very rare.1941.2.13 印度佐治六世14安娜航空郵資封，自江孜寄英國。郵資圖銷亞東英局日戳，旁鈐“NOT OPENED BY CENSOR”橫戳。蔡盛及王劍智記錄在1940年7月至1942年6月間，有一段不檢查西藏郵件之期間。此橫戳之例子非常少見。

Plus a pair of letters from the Postmaster of Gyantse British PO B C Butt 1912 (31 Oct) and 1913 (18 Apr) to England, stating that the issuance of Tibet stamps was in 1913 instead of Dec 1912. As Dalai Lama returned to Lhasa in the 12th month of Tibetan calendar (i.e. Jan of 1913), some people mistook the issuance of Tibet stamps was in Dec 1912.
