Major Evans was part of the Burma Frontier Force in China. He was killed when leading his patrol of Lahu Levies which was the smallest operating unit in Burma and fought from December 1942 until Major Evans death on April 8th 1943 at Mong Pawk.1943年兩件二戰緬甸政府公文封，由J.G.W.
