1899 (10 Jan) French 5c stationery cover to C.E. Tanant, Wuhu, redirected to Peking, tied by Paris cds. Transit Shanghai Chinese PO (18 Feb). Arrived Wuhu (20 Feb) with dollar cds. Redirecetd to Peking (1 Mar) with "Customs" removed cds in black. Nice Tanant correspondence with Wuhu dolalr cds. Peking "Customs" removed cds is also much rarer than Tientsin "Customs" removed cds. Paul K S Chang recorded its usage between Feb 1898 and Feb 1899 and this example was dated even slightly later. 2004 (Jan) PhilaChina, lot 975.1899.1.10 法國5生丁郵資封寄蕪湖的譚安，改寄北京，銷巴黎日戳。2.18經上海清局。2.20抵蕪湖，鈐大圓戳。再改寄北京（3.1），鈐挖海關黑色日戳。鈐蕪湖大圓戳之出色譚安封。北京挖海關日戳亦遠比天津挖海關日戳少見。張愷升記錄僅見於1898年2月至1899年2月，此例更晚。2004.1 PhilaChina，拍品號975。
