1844 Manila (22 Jun) to Canton via Macao. Entire letter, rated “2”, applied with “FILIPINAS / Manila” oval d.s. and scarce “MACAO / CORoMARITmo” type 1-2-1 oval h.s. Choi Cheong Too recoded only 15 examples of the type 1-2-1 oval h.s. and this one dated later than his record (10 Feb 1842). Also, it is the only recorded example in combination of FILIPINAS oval cancel and Macao forwarding post mark. An important rarity for Philippines and Macao collectors. With Philatelic Foundation Certificate 1844.6.22 馬尼拉經澳門寄廣州。郵簡，寫有郵資“2”，鈐“FILIPINAS / Manila”橢圓日戳及珍罕之“MACAO / CORoMARITmo”1-2-1型橢圓戳記。蔡昌道記錄，此戳僅見於15件封，而此例日期比蔡昌道之記錄（1842 年2月10日）更晚。難得。同為同時蓋有此菲律賓橢圓戳記之孤例。附證書。
